"Overall the food and atmosphere are good. (Warning - Google maps has it listed at Calle Isabelo, 1. However, it should listed at Calle Isabelo, 25. The numbering is strange on this street according to the owner.) I had the chimichanga. The tortilla was crunchy on the ends and soft in the middle. The inside and the sauce were tasty. The picante salsas on the side were were tasty and had a little bit of heat to them. The only downside was the rice. It was firm and not overcooked, but there was very little taste to it. I also had a delicious cafe con leche and the moist and tasty tarta muerte por chocolate for dessert. The service was good and the prices were very reasonable. (Note - Some English is spoken but hand gestures and a positive attitude goes a long way. Parking can be a bit of a challenge to find, I but a little walk after your meal can be nice and relaxing. Also the opening time at lunch is more like 13:00 and not 12:30.)"

"I was really hungry quite late in the evening (for me anyway) after a long day and eating very little tapas at lunchtime, and noticed this cantina tucked away in this quiet residential part of Jerez. The owner was very kind and I tried an authentic Guadalajara-style burrito for the first time, which was just what I needed!"

"A hidden Mexican gem! The dishes had depth of taste and if you like it spicy you have the option to add a choice of two chili sauces or jalapenos. Service was great and the dishes very well priced and very large."
